Emily Gould is the External Relations Manager at the Policy Council, where she is responsible for maintaining and cultivating relationships with grassroots organizations across the state, as well as promoting the Policy Council’s message to make South Carolina the freest state in the nation.
Emily began her time with SCPC as a member of the development team, and transitioned into External Affairs in the summer of 2012. Prior to joining the Policy Council, Emily served as a writer for a private grant writing firm based in Asheville, North Carolina and also worked for the Charleston Symphony Orchestra during her college career.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts Management from the best school in the world, College of Charleston, where she graduated in 2009. Emily spends her time outside of tearing down barriers to the free market with her household full of four-legged children and thrift store hopping.
